Reverend George McFadden is still a priest, despite more allegations against him than any other Iowa priest in the past 50 years. At least 25 people have accused the 80-year-old McFadden of sexually abusing them as children while he served in six northwest Iowa parishes from 1953 to 1992. Last month, the Vatican ordered McFadden to cease public ministry and have no contact with children. He also was ordered to live a life of prayer and penance. McFadden, now living in Fort Wayne, Indiana, denies all allegations of abuse.
