Fr. Michael Daly passed on from this life on Monday, Jan. 30, at the age of 63.

Ordained a priest on May 11, 1975, Fr. Daly's assignments included associate pastor of St. Linus Parish, Dearborn; St. Bede Parish, Southfield; St. Henry Parish, Lincoln Park; and St. Angela Parish, Roseville. He was pastor at St. Michael Parish, Pontiac, in addition to being a liaison with the Family Life Office for the Northwest Region. He also served as chaplain at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, and the Felician Sisters Motherhouse, Livonia.

Fr. Daly was removed from active ministry according to the norms of the Dallas Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.
