	Reverend Charles V. Cross Jr. Burmingham News April 29, 2010 CROSS, REVEREND CHARLES V. JR., 75, a retired priest of the Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama, died on April 24, 2010. Father Cross was born in Coral Gables, Florida on May 13, 1934. He was ordained on June 4, 1960 to serve the Diocese of Mobile -Birmingham. He served Catholic Churches in North Alabama and in the Birmingham area. He was the Administrator of St. Thomas Catholic Life Center in East Birmingham for several years. Father Cross is survived by a sister-in-law, Margaret Cross of Tennessee and also a nephew, David Cross, and a niece, Laura Cross. Special gratitude is extended to the family of Rick and Debbie Rankin for their care and support for Father Cross, especially in his retirement years. Funeral arrangements are private.
