McFadden is accussed of abusing children at this parish. Bishop was Joseph M. Mueller, D.D. ; Chancellor was Rev. Lawrence J. Hoffman, J.C.D.

Mueller and Chancellor was Rev. Lawrence J. Hoffman, J.C.D. From 1965-1969 Bishop was Frank H. Greteman, D.D. and Chancellor continued to be Hoffman.
1969	1972	St. Joseph's	Jefferson	IA	1/1	Allegations of abuse while at this parish. Bishop during this time continued to be Greteman and Chancellor was Hoffman 1969-1970. From 1970-1971 Chancellor was Very Rev. Raymond A. Kevane, J.C.D., S.T.L. During 1971-1972 Rev. Leonard M Ziegmann became Chancellor.

Bishop Greteman and Chancellor Ziegmann continued from 1972-1981, when Ziegmann was replaced by Rev. Dennis M. Schnurr, J.C.D. Greteman was replaced as Bishop in 1983 by Lawrence D. Soens, while Schnurr continued as Chancellor until 1985, when he was replaced by Rev. Roger J. Augustine, V.G. Accusations that Soens sexually abused boys surfaced in 2006.
1987	1992	St. Andrew's	Sibley	IA	1/1	Bishop was Soens during this time, while Chancellor Augustine was replaced in 1987 by Rev. Kevin C. McCoy, S.T.D.
1992	1995	?				McFadden not indexed or listed in diocesan pages of the Directories.Per Des Moines Register article of 6-23-2002, McFadden was forced to retire and into treatment in 1992, after allegations of sexual abuse of more than 25 children. Article also states he said daily mass from 1992-2002 at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City. Bishop was Soens, Chancellor continued to be McCoy.
1995	2002	Retired Cathedral of the Epiphany	Sioux City	IA		Directories list McFadden as retired and living at 1122 Grandview Blvd.,Sioux City, which is just around the corner from the cathedral. Soens was replaced as bishop in 1998 by Daniel N. Dinardo, D.D. McCoy was replaced the same year by Rev. Msgr. Michael D. Sernett.
2002	2007	Retired	Ft. Wayne	IN		Per Sioux City Journal article of 1-16-2007, McFadden lives in Indiana and has been prohibited by the Vatican of presenting himself as a priest.

Note: The Official Catholic Directory aims to report the whereabouts of Catholic priests in the United States on January 1 of the Directory's publication year. Our working assumption is that a priest listed in the Directory for a given year was at the same assignment for part of the previous year as well. However, Kenedy & Sons will sometimes accept updates well into the year of publication. Diocesan clergy records are rarely available to correct this information.
