Summary of Case: Campbell was named in a 2003 lawsuit as having sexually abused a minor between 1956-1959, while he worked in the Monterey-Fresno diocese. Campbell moved frequently in his career. There are several periods of time throughout the decades whereby his name is not indexed or listed in the diocesan pages of the Directories. He was ordained a Dominican priest, appears to have left the order in about 1949, but is referred to again in the Directories as a Dominican from 1978 on. He died in 1986.
