SALINAS - A Salinas pastor who pleaded guilty to sexual assault and child molestation of two girls, including his daughter, was sentenced to life in prison Thursday in a Monterey County Superior Court room.
Donald Domelle, 65, admitted in January to forcing a developmentally disabled girl to perform oral sex. He also engaged in ``substantial sexual conduct'' with his daughter while she was under the age of 14, the Monterey County district attorney reported.
Domelle sexually assaulted his daughter from the age of 10 until she was 19, according to the district attorney. When the daughter spoke of her abuse to others, she was sent to a school in Texas and didn't report her abuse until Dec. 28, 2005, the district attorney reported. She is now 25 years old.
