Speaking of Archbishop Michael Byrnes... He caught up with members of the Concerned Catholics of Guam earlier this week.

According to CCOG President Dave Sablan, he and his Vice President Andrew Camacho met with Archbishop Byrnes as well as Delegate of the Apostolic Administrator Father Jeff San Nicolas. "We need to let him know what exactly have been all the problems in the past. Who caused them. What are the root causes of this division within the church. And we are having some dialogue with the chancery in that regard," Sablan said.

For years, the CCOG has requested the audience of Archbishop Anthony Apuron who refused to meet with them. Among the most pressing topics, Sablan says they urged Archbishop Byrnes to shut down the Redemptoris Mater Seminary and send foreigner seminarians back home.
