Court documents indicate a series of alleged abuse incidents happened from September 2014 until the end of October 2014.
Savage was arrested two months ago by Maine State Police. H
He was the director of ministries at Youth Haven Ministries, which police say is affiliated with the Canaan Calvary Church. Canaan is a small town outside of Skowhegan.
Investigators say Savage lives in the nearby town of Clinton and the sexual abuse happened at his home.
He's been out on bail since March. Part of the bail agreement requires Savage to have no contact with children who are younger than 16. He'll be allowed to have supervised contact with a newborn child his family is expecting.
Savage chose not to speak about the accusations made against him.
The next time Savage is expected to be in court is July 21 for a conference hearing.
