Pope Institutes Commission to Reform Vatican’s Media Operations

At the recommendation of the nine-member Council of Cardinals, which is advising Pope Francis in the reform of the Roman Curia, Pope Francis has instituted a new commission to reform the Vatican’s media operations.

The president of the commission is Msgr. Dario Edoardo Vigano, the director of Vatican Television Center.

The commission’s members are Paolo Nusiner, director general of Avvenire; Msgr. Lucio Adrian Ruiz, head of the Vatican Internet Service; Father Antonio Spadaro, director of La Civilta Cattolica; and Msgr. Paul Tighe, secretary of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications.
