Pastor Juan D. McFarland’s strong concern for people has allowed him to devote himself to professional and community service, addressing religious, cultural and social needs not only for the African-American community, but for all people across cultural distinctions. He has served 21 years as Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and he is the newly elected Moderator of the Alabama Middle District Missionary Baptist Association, Inc. This association is 34 churches strong.

Pastor/Moderator McFarland is widely recognized by his constituents as gifted in the areas of alliteration and scriptural insight. His preparation and focus in the areas of Biblical Stewardship, Biblical Leadership and Biblical Preaching are ones in which he is often sought to teach, lecture and preach.

Pastor/Moderator Juan D. McFarland is a man of vision and mission; a man of passion, prayer and purpose; a man whose life is centered in Jesus Christ. Pastor/Moderator McFarland is a great preacher, teacher, leader, evangelist and singer. He challenges people of God to be dedicated and committed to mission. As he explains and encourages, find a ministry to use your God giving gift and talent because there is much work to do, and the scripture reminds us in James 2:26 that “faith without works is dead.” Pastor/Moderator McFarland is steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
