A man who was in charge of a church's youth ministry was convicted on sexual abuse charges Wednesday.

A jury found Shawn Flickinger, 29, of 1100 Watson St., North Lebanon Township, guilty of sexual abuse of a child, unlawful contact or communication with a minor, criminal solicitation -- sexual abuse of a child and corruption of minors.

Flickinger was found not guilty of the most serious charge, aggravated indecent assault without consent, which would have called for a mandatory five years in state prison. He was also found guilty of indecent assault, indecent exposure and open lewdness.

According to court records, the incidents occurred on North Water Street and Winchester Circle in North Lebanon between September 2010 and August 2012. The victim was under 16.

President Judge John Tylwalk scheduled sentencing for March 26.

In another trial before Tylwalk, Richard Rodriguez, 34, of 457 E. Weidman St., Lebanon, was found guilty of sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.

According to court records, Rodriguez pushed a woman on her side, removed her pants and underwear, and had oral and vaginal sex with her during an incident at a home on South Sixth Street, Lebanon, on June 24, 2011.

Tylwalk scheduled sentencing for March 26.

In jury trials before Senior Judge Robert Eby:

• Eduardo Colon-Valdez, 18, of 361 New St., Lebanon, was convicted of three counts of robbery.

During a preliminary hearing in May, a 17-year-old Lebanon boy testified that Colon-Valdez threatened to hit him with a gun while the victim was walking in the 500 block of Crowell Street about 8:56 p.m. April 15.

The victim said he handed Colon-Valdez a bag of marijuana, a pack of Ziz-Zags (rolling papers), an iPhone and some change.

At the time of his arrest, Colon-Valdez was on parole for assaulting a city police officer on Aug. 23, 2011. He had been sentenced in February 2012 to four months to two years in Lebanon County prison for aggravated assault, riot, escape, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Eby scheduled sentencing for Jan. 29.

• Judith Lopez, 38, Morrisville, Bucks County, was found guilty of theft by deception.

According to court records, Lopez failed to return a car to Flatline Auto Sales, 1019 E. Main St., North Londonderry Township, and removed a GPS unit from the vehicle on Dec. 13, 2012.

Eby scheduled sentencing for Jan. 29.
