Father Eric Dejager has a court date in Edmonton, Alberta tomorrow.  I will try to check that today to ensure it is still on.  Without doubt everything in Edmonton will be on hold until Dejaeger has been sentenced in Iqaluit so setting dates for now is a bit of a shot in the dark (Yes, I did say sentenced – Dejaeger has already entered guilty pleas to a handful of the multitude of charges against him so there will definitely be a sentencing.)  The trial in Iqaluit resumes 20 January when defence will present its case.  Whether or not Dejaeger will take the stand in his own defence remains to be see.

As it stands, and unless I find out otherwise, the Edmonton courtdate is as follows:

I noticed that convicted Basilian molester Father William Hodgson Marshall had his teacher’s licence revoked.  I will post relevant documents and articles.  Fro those who may have missed it the Discip0line Committee of the Ontario College of Teachers posted a notice of hearing 28 March 2012:

My husband went back to work today.  I shall do likewise

I hope all are braving the wild and often frigid weather which has been sweeping across Canada and the USA.  It’s been a rough time for many, but my goodness but you people in Newfoundland have had rough winter to date – and winter is far from over.

And 72 mph winds forecast for Iqaluit today.!

I think this year we will all be looking forward to Spring with an added zeal :)  Meanwhile, stay warm – stay safe.
