• Greenfields role – design & implement operational procedures
• National phone and face to face Legal Advisory Service
• Sydney based, travel required
The Legal Advisory Service is a free service for members of the public engaging or considering engaging with the Royal Commission into Institutional
Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. It is being established by the National Association of Community Legal Centres with funding from the Australian
Government. The service will provide legal advice and practical assistance, information and referral, and support services via a national phone line and
face-to-face services. The service will not provide legal representation and will work independently of the Commission.
Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will take responsibility for the design and implementation of procedures for the national operations team. You will
develop policies and procedures for facilities, human resources, administration, finance and informational technology, while working closely with the communications, legal and other direct service teams.
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and must have experience in a similar start up environment, leading multi-disciplinary
teams. You can demonstrate commitment to promoting a cohesive team culture while managing multiple external stakeholders. Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this opportunity please respond to the following selection criteria:
• Broad functional and project management experience
• Strong financial management skills
• Experience running a national office, program or project providing services
• Familiarity with standards of government grants and accountability requirements
• Leadership experience including multi-disciplinary and remote teams
• Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
