The Legal Advisory Service is a free service for members of the public engaging or considering engaging with the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. It is being established by the National Association of Community Legal Centres with funding from the Australian Government. You will ensure that high quality legal advice and support services are delivered in culturally safe and appropriate ways, and in compliance with relevant state or territory legal profession regulation requirements and that service data is recorded.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply. To be considered for this opportunity please respond to the following selection criteria:

ability to work with and manage a team of legal and non-legal staff and work collaboratively with service providers
demonstrated willingness to listen to advice from field officers on cultural issues
If contributing to providing equitable access to quality legal services for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse is of interest to you, please forward your application in MS Word format including your resume, a covering letter and responses to the selection criteria to cv@ngorecruitment.com quoting reference #31591 or contact Annie Barker or Richard Green in Sydney on (02) 8243 0570.
