Victory Christian Center Employees Sentenced

Three people accused of failing to report child abuse at Victory Christian Center were sentenced on Monday.

Anna George, Harold Sullivan and Paul Williemstein, all VCC employees, entered no contest pleas to charges for failing to report child abuse.

Prosecutors allege they waited weeks before reporting they received a complaint against a former employee, Chris Denman, involving an underage girl. In December, Denman pleaded guilty to sex crimes against three girls and was sentenced to 55 years in prison.

Willemstein and George were sentenced to one year in the Tulsa County Jail with all but 30 days of that sentence suspended. Sullivan was sentenced to one year in the Tulsa County Jail with all time suspended. They will all be on DA supervision for the full year.

In February, all three waived their right to a trial. Two other VCC employees, John and Charica Daugherty, are also charged with failing to report abuse.
