On the Jaco Report, a new Pope has been elected. But what do dissident Catholics in St. Louis think of him? Many Catholics have become disillusioned with the church over sex abuse by priests, fights over birth control, and rules against women priests. Is the selection of a Jesuit pope, Pope Francis, enough to get them back?

Also is it economic development or voodoo? A St. Louis area state senator sponsors a bill to cut income taxes and raise sales taxes. It could cost Missouri hundreds of millions in revenue. But would it actually attract any businesses here?
