Priest Accused of Sexual Assault Found Dead

A Somerville, Mass. priest accused of sexually abusing a young parishioner has been found dead after an apparent drug overdose.

Police tell The Boston Herald that the body of Rev. Paul Lacharite was found on the sixth floor of the Government Center parking garage.

Lacharite was recently charged with one count of assault to rape a child and three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14.

Prosecutors say the abuse went on for 10 years.
