Trial Postponed for Councilman Accused of Sexual Abuse

The trial for a Fairfield City Councilman, accused of sexually kissing and groping his teenage granddaughter, has been postponed, ABC affiliate 33/40 reports.

Councilman Primus Mack is facing a three count indictment charging him with sexual abuse, enticing a child and harassment. The alleged incident occurred when his granddaughter spent the night at his house.

Mack, who also worked as a church pastor and operated a home daycare at the time of the alleged incident, has pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
