More Victims in Lawsuit against Helena Diocese

he lawsuit against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena was amended Monday, bringing the total number of plaintiffs in the case to 200.

The amended complaint includes 10 new alleged sexual offenders and eight new sexual abuse victims. There are now 26 accused in the case.

Attorney Tim Kosnoff says he believes this only represents only a small percentage of the total number of actual victims. He says Helena Diocese Bishop George Leo Thomas is asking victims to come forward.

The case is being settled outside of court under the supervision of Judge Jeffery Sherlock.
