St. Louis Pastor Charged for Allegedly Fondling Teenage Girl

A priest assigned to the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica parish has been charged with fondling a teenage girl. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Father Joseph Jiang is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The girl told police Jiang fondled her on four separate occasions in Old Monroe, Missouri. The 29-year-old priest has been suspended by the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Church officials also state the alleged abuse did not take place on church property.
