Tomah Man Accused of Child Sexual Assault

A former truck driver and pastor from Tomah faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child for an extended period of time.

64-year-old Michael Delaney was appeared in court Monday on possible charges of sexual assault of a child, repeated acts of sexual assault of the same child, and child enticement.

Tomah Police say the the abuse is alleged to have happened in Monroe County and other parts of the United States.

Investigators tell News 8 Delaney is retired from his jobs as an over-the-road truck driver and pastor.

Delaney posted a $7.500 cash bond Monday and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court again in February.
