Fr Kevin Reynolds, the Lanesboro born priest who was wrongly accused by RTE of fathering a child in Kenya, has vowed to shun any further interviews with the medai following another week of intense public scrutiny over his defamation.
The 65-year-old, pictured right, said he would not be speaking about the events which last week caused the national broadcaster to issue a formal apology to the Co Galway based priest.
When contacted by the Leader on Friday, Fr Reynolds declined to answer any further questions about the storm, saying he had been “flabbergasted” by the scale of media interest over the past ten days.
