	St. Paul Lawyer Pivots from Clergy Abuse to Penn State Scandal By Tim Nelson Minnesota Public Radio November 30, 2011 minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2011/11/30/anderson-penn-state-abuse/ St. Paul, Minn. — A St. Paul attorney known for winning sex abuse cases against the Catholic Church said he's filing the first civil case in the Penn State scandal. Jeffrey Anderson said he's filing the case in Philadelphia Tuesday on behalf of a young man who he said was abused by Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, starting when the alleged victim was 10 years old. "There has been a grand jury investigation, upon which we've relied heavily," Anderson said. "We have brought the information we've assembled to law enforcement." Anderson added, "We feel this is one way, and now the best way, to start to bring awareness, start to bring some heat, start to bring some light on how this institution and so many people for so long failed to protect so many kids."
