A female teacher, two pastors and a former principal are arrested and charged in the sexual assault of a fifteen year old boy, according to the El Paso County, Colorado investigators. The fifteen-year-old boy was, allegedly, assaulted multiple times by the teacher at Hilltop Baptist School in 2007. The crime was not reported until 2010. 32-year-old Terah Allyn Rawlings has been charged with eight counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and obscenity-promotion.
The former principal of the schook Jan Ocvirk, senior Pastor at Hilltop Baptist Franklin “Wayne” knight and Associate Pastor Raymond “Allen” Knight are all being charged with failure to report child abuse or neglect.
Making this worse is that Raymond Knight is Terah Rawlings’ father and Franklin Knight is her uncle.
Two teachers had suspected that the abuse was taking place, but were told that it was not happening by those involved. The teachers reported the abuse to the police, and were subsequently fired.
The grand jury investigation into these alleged crimes began when at least one person as well as the victim did not cooperate with deputies investigating the incidents.
