LIBERTY, Mo. -- A Clay County grand jury has indicted former Catholic priest Shawn Ratigan on three state counts of possessing child pornography.The indictment alleges that Ratigan, 46, had three illicit images of children on a computer in May. The indictment will supersede a prosecutor's complaint on similar charges last spring.
Ratigan remains in federal custody on a 13-count indictment handed up in August. The federal charges include allegations that Ratigan produced and attempted to produce child pornography over a period of nearly five years.He is being held in lieu of $200,000 bond.
