(Newser)Count Michele Bachmann among those who want a little extra-judicial punishment for Penn State's Jerry Sandusky: "This is so horrific. On the level of a parent, I think of my children, if that was my child, and my automatic reaction would be, even if I'm a small woman, I would want to go find that guy and beat him to a pulp," Bachmann said today on Meet the Press. "That's what any parent would want to do." Regardless, "with this level of scrutiny, justice will be done." The Penn State sex abuse scandal featured elsewhere on your talk show dial, Politico reports:

Pennsylvania Gov. and Penn State trustee Tom Corbett on Mike McQuery's actions: "The attorney general made a decision that [McQuery] met the minimum obligation of reporting it up, but did not in my opinion meet a moral obligation that all of us would have. Everybody believes they would go in and break that up. Unfortunately, that isn't what happened."
Corbett on Joe Paterno's firing: "As to the actions of Mr. Paterno, when you don't follow through, when you don't continue on to make sure actions are taken, then I lose confidence in your ability to lead. That would be the case here."
