	SNAP Praises Victim in Fairview Sex Abuse Case By Barbara Dorris SNAP November 11, 2011 http://www.snapnetwork.org/snap_praises_victim_in_fairview_sex_abuse_case Our hearts ache for this young girl who was disparaged by Deacon Richard Taylor. The sexual violence she suffered was horrific, and yet she still had the bravery to come forward and tell her story to authorities. She is to be commended for her courage. The knowledge that Taylor had been convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in the early 80’s and yet still allowed to work around children is Fairview is especially distressing. We hope that authorities will investigate the negligence from the diocese that allowed this convicted predator access to vulnerable kids and bring charges where possible.
