	Priest Faces More Sex Charges CBC News October 27, 2011 http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/story/2011/10/27/wdr-priest-sex-charges.html The OPP laid two more sex charges against a Catholic priest dating back to 1974-75, while the accused was assigned to St. Paul’s Catholic Church in LaSalle. The victim was a student at a school when the offences occurred. Linus Bastien, 85, of Chatham now also faces one more count of indecent assault and another count of gross indecency. Bastien was previously charged with two counts of indecent assault and two counts of gross indecency dating back to 1978 when he was assigned to St. Mary’s Parish in Maidstone, Ont.. Bastien was arrested on Oct. 25 and is scheduled to appear in Windsor Court in November where he will answer to all charges before the courts.
