"For our part, we will meet these announcements with a steady resolve and a vigorous defense." Finn is the first U.S. bishop charged over his response to sex-abuse claims. If convicted of the misdemeanor charge, Finn will face a maximum prison sentence of one year and a $1,000 fine.
