	County Galway Rape Trial Adjourned Galway Bay FM October 13, 2011 http://www.galwaynews.ie/22095-county-galway-rape-trial-adjourned The trial of an 82 year old priest charged with the alleged sexual assault of a boy in Galway has been adjourned until November. The priest, who can't be named for legal reasons - was listed to appear before Galway Circuit Criminal Court. The court was told that the priest was unable to appear before Judge Raymond Groarke as he is unwell, having suffered a stroke. In his absence, Judge Raymond Groarke remanded him on continuing bail and adjourned the matter to 25th November - when he added the priest's attendence will not be required due to his ongoing ill health.
