Fr Aidan Troy admitted after four decades in the priesthood he is ashamed to wear his collar because of the litany of scandals. The cleric told a suicide prevention conference in Dublin: "Who knows how many good people lost their light in their life because of the clergy." He added: "Over 40 years as a priest, it was a privilege to wear my collar. Now I find it difficult to go out with my collar on every morning." Reporter 'killed over stories' Peru's national journalists association said the murder of a provincial television reporter by masked gunmen may have been retribution for his reports denouncing local corruption. Pedro Flores was shot on Wednesday in the northern coastal province of Casma. He died on Thursday. The Inter American Press Association called for an immediate, exhaustive and transparent investigation into the killing. Retail boss wins Red Or Black? A retail manager from Yorkshire has become the fourth millionaire to be created by ITV's Red Or Black? game show. Gary Brocklesby, from Doncaster, became the latest contestant in the series to win the million-pound television jackpot. Love triangle tiger kills mate A female tiger, caught in a feline love triangle, has killed her mate at a West Texas zoo, authorities said, in a rare attack that came after months of simmering jealousy. Three-year-old Malayan tiger Seri killed six-year-old Wzui at about 4pm on Thursday in an enclosure at El Paso Zoo, zoo spokeswoman Karla Martinez said. As soon as the incident was reported, the tiger exhibit was closed and veterinary staff were called.
