Fr. Francis Drabiska was charged Thursday with one count of theft by unlawful taking, according to the complaint. Drabiska resigned from the Word of God parish last year, and allegedly admitted the theft to church authorities. But the amount wasn't mentioned at that time. Click Here The complaint alleges that Drabiska had been warned of his extravagant spending by church officials, and that he admitted the money was used for a lifestyle beyond his means. Drabiska had been a priest since 1976.
