	Kenny Defends Vatican Criticism TV3 September 6, 2011 http://www.tv3.ie/article.php?article_id=62457&locID=1.2&pagename=news Taoiseach Enda Kenny has launched at a strong defence of his criticism of the Vatican and its handling of clerical child abuse. He was speaking in Galway where Fine Gael are holding its annual think-in. Mr Kenny rejected outright the Vatican's assertion that his allegations were "unfounded " in relation to co-operation with the inquiry. "I want to see that the church of which I am a member is absolutely above reproach in the issue of this and other areas," Mr Kenny said today. "And for that reason, my claim in the Dail still stands."
