The victims of clerical sex abuse at St Joseph's Home in Sta Venera met Archbishop Paul Cremona at around 1100h this morning at his residence in Attard.

This meeting came after the Curia's Pro-Vicar, Mgr Anton Gouder contacted the victims through their lawyer Patrick Valentino.
A spokesman for the group, Lawrence Grech told journalists that he would be asking the Archbishop for proceedings against Fr Conrad Sciberras - a fourth priest who has not yet been brought to justice - to be sped up.
Speaking after the meeting, the Archbishop said he apologised to the victims for what happened and for the length it took response team to investigate the cases.
