A number of former altar boys who say they were abused by a Roman Catholic Priest plan to make their allegations public this morning.
They will be announcing civil lawsuits against the Diocese of London as a result of the abuse.
Their lawyer says by breaking their silence now, they are hoping to achieve healing and closure from the harm they suffered.
Father Bernard Alphonse Robert was Pastor of St. Francis Xavier in Tilbury during the 1970’s and ’80’s.
He also spent time at St. Mary’s in Blenheim, Holy Family in Wallaceburg and parishes in Alvinston and Watford.
He is now deceased.
