	Priest Faces Another Lawsuit St. Joseph News-Press July 29, 2011 http://www.newspressnow.com/localnews/28700473/detail.html A fourth lawsuit has been filed against a priest removed by the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph in June. David Tate, 52, filed a suit against the diocese and Rev. Michael Tierney, claiming the priest molested Mr. Tate at a home and a hotel swimming pool in Kansas City. The alleged abuse occurred in 1971 and 1972, when Mr. Tate was 12 and 13. Rev. Tierney was removed from all pastoral assignments by the diocesan review board in June after receiving credible reports of misconduct with minors. Three suits have been filed against Rev. Tierney since September 2010.
