	Dublin's Archbishop Denies Meeting with Kenny on Abuse Catholic Culture July 29, 2011 http://www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=11208 Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin has categorically denied a report in the Phoenix magazine that he has held regular private meetings with Irish prime minister Enda Kenny. The Phoenix report implied that the archbishop might have influenced Kenny's angry speech attacking the Vatican. In fact, Archbishop Martin said, he has not met with Kenny since becoming Archbishop of Dublin; their only private meeting occurred 7 years ago. The archbishop added that he has only written one note to the Taoiseach, shortly after Kenny rose to that office in March.
