	Rio Rancho's First Mayor Imprisoned KASA July 23, 2011 http://www.kasa.com/dpps/news/crime/rio-ranchos-first-mayor-imprisoned_3891003 ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The first mayor of Rio Rancho spent the night behind bars after being sentenced to nine years in prison for molesting a 7-year-old girl. William Howden, 72, was sentenced Friday. He molested the girl in 2009, and his sentence includes paying counselilng fees for the girl. Howden, a former Episcopal priest, said in court he will carry the grief and shame of what he did for the rest of his life.
