High-profile cleric Fr Brian D'Arcy will be one of the guests on Miriam O'Callaghan's RTE chat show tomorrow night in what should make for emotional viewing.
And he will be trying to make sense of this week's historic turn of events in the wake of Taoiseach Enda Kenny's condemnation of the Vatican for trying to cover up the abuse of children, given the findings in the Cloyne report.
"He's someone who has a very interesting take on things, particularly in relation to the Church and where it stands today and he's someone who was abused himself," said a show source.
Heartache
"He's able to give the point of view of both a cleric and a victim, which makes him a particularly noteworthy guest in that he's able to see if from both sides."
Also appearing on Saturday Night With Miriam will be Corrie star Kym Marsh, who'll be telling all to Miriam about her new baby -- as well as her miscarriage heartache.
The actress gave birth 18 weeks early to a baby boy, who died soon afterwards.
She went on to give birth to a healthy baby girl name Holly last March, who arrived seven weeks early, making her the third child for the actress.
Other guests on the show include former President Mary Robinson, who is just back from a harrowing visit to famine-stricken Somalia.
Ms Robinson will be joined on the Saturday night programme by the controversial Tipperary North politician Michael Lowry, who will be arguing in support of the "Las Vegas-style" Tipperary casino.
The ambitious ˆ460m plan being spearheaded by Wes Quirke's businessman father Richard has been given the go-ahead following a hearing by An Bord Pleanala.
