	Molestation Victim Describes Sex Acts Allegedly Imposed by Former Kingsport Priest Daily Journal July 13, 2011 http://www.dailyjournal.net/view/story/a233bd98a05c4d4dbef1a843e88b629a/TN--Church-Abuse-Tenn/ BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. — An Indiana man who accused a former Roman Catholic priest from Tennessee of molesting him as a youth gave graphic testimony about the alleged acts on the second day of the trial Tuesday. William Casey is charged with committing the crimes while serving as priest for St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Kingsport in the 1970s. Casey is now 78 years old and lives in Greeneville. The Associated Press usually does not identify possible victims of sexual assault, but Warren Tucker, 46, of Jeffersonville, Ind., has gone public with his claims that Casey molested him when he served as an altar boy. Casey has been indicted on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of first-degree sexual misconduct. Tucker testified Tuesday of at least three sexual encounters with Casey, the Kingsport Times-News reported. The first incident occurred when he was 13 and Casey offered to show him his living quarters in the basement of the church rectory. "I thought it was pretty cool because nobody got to go down there; that was off limits to the public," Tucker said. When he was in the bedroom, Tucker said Casey put an arm around him, locked the door and led him to his bed. There, Casey allegedly undressed him from the waist, then fondled and sexually abused him. Afterward, Tucker described being "numbed, stunned," and that he felt "like a zombie." Tucker said Casey told him that Tucker's mother would be hurt if she found out about what happened and that no one would believe him. Tucker said he had another sexual encounter with Casey when he was 14 and a third incident sometime after that. Tucker said he had no desire to have sex with Casey but felt powerless to resist someone he believed then to be "God on earth." Tucker filed a police complaint against Casey in April 2010 with the Kingsport Police Department. A Sullivan County grand jury indicted Casey in August 2010. Similar charges against Casey were filed in two other states after complaints by Tucker. Casey pleaded guilty to charges in McDowell County, N.C. Charges against him are pending in Scott County, Va.
