	Priest Resigns in Vegas Amid Sex Abuse Suit CT Post June 24, 2011 http://www.ctpost.com/news/article/Priest-resigns-in-Vegas-amid-sex-abuse-suit-1438690.php An Episcopal priest in Las Vegas has resigned from his church after being named in a Missouri lawsuit alleging a Catholic monastery there covered up his sexual abuse of a choir boy. The lawsuit accuses Conception Abbey of keeping quiet about 69-year-old Bede Parry's 1987 sexual assault of a choir boy. Parry directed the choir. Parry says in a Las Vegas Review-Journal story that he feels terrible about letting down friends in the abbey and the diocese in Las Vegas. He says he asked to be relieved of duty at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Las Vegas. Bishop Dan Edwards of the Nevada diocese says the church is considering further discipline because Parry is still a priest. Parry insists he's had no incidents since the one alleged in the suit.
