The Michael R. Unglo Just Be Foundation, Inc., was founded on June 16, 2010, and is incorporated as a domestic 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Foundation celebrates the life, legacy, values and accomplishments of Michael R. Unglo, whose life was ultimately tragically and forever altered by childhood sex abuse at the hands of a Roman Catholic priest. The Foundation works with the help of benefactors to impact positively the lives of those working to overcome the scars of childhood abuse – both victims and caregivers. Acting together, we will win the battle of preventing childhood abuse, support those working to recover from it or those working to help others recover, and hold accountable those who still need to respond appropriately and adequately for the abuse they enable or enabled, such as many of the poor leaders in the Roman Catholic Church.
