Local artist Johnny "SOAP45" Vega will be showcased this month at the historic Ivanhoe Art Museum in Paterson, NJ. Johnny, a SNAPLatino (SNAP: Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests) chapter founder, is renowned for his airbrush and spraypaint graffiti artwork.

The showcase opens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3 with a VIP reception for over a hundred guests from throughout the tri-state area. The showcase opens to the public at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.

More than forty pieces of Johnny's work will be on display, including three thought-provoking creations related to his survival of child sexual abuse by members of the clergy.

Johnny's work will be on display at the Ivanhoe through June 30. Admission is free.

The event is sponsored by Ivanhoe Artistic Mosaic Inc., Blockstarrz Ent. LLC, Gorga Enterprises, Lidyana Calle and DJNICE.
