	Lawsuit Suggests Diocese Mishandled Priest Abuse Case St. Joe Channel June 2, 2011 http://stjoechannel.com/fulltext-news?nxd_id=204927 A lawsuit has been filed in the case of a former St. Joseph priest charged with child porn. The civil lawsuit was filed against the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese, Bishop Robert Finn and Father Shawn Ratigan. The lawsuit accuses the diocese and Bishop Finn of covering up the discovery that Father Ratigan was creating child porn and being sexually inappropriate with young girls. Father Ratigan remains in police custody. He was arrested a few weeks ago after police discovered that child pornography was allegedly on the priest's personal computer.
