	Kenya: Kizito Accuser Recants The allAfrica May 31, 2011 http://allafrica.com/stories/201106010053.html The young man who claimed to have been sodomised by Father Renato Sesana Kizito in 2009 confessed yesterday that he had been promised money to frame up the Catholic priest. Benson Sarago said he had been coached on what to tell the media by three people who had previously worked with the Koinonia Community and had been fired. Fr Kizito said on his part said that his accusers wanted to take over the activities and property the Koinonia community which he had developed over the past 20 years. "They want to discredit me by making allegations of a sexual nature because they want to take over the Koinonia community, " he said. Fr Kizito was released last Friday after investigators said medical tests had failed to link him to the sexual abuse accusations. A secretary with the Koinonia Old Beneficiaries Welfare Association Disterious Ratemo who has consistently defended Fr Kizito against these allegations was on Sunday night beaten up as he arrived home at night. Ratemo said he was attacked by six hooded men using metal bars.
