Protesters from the organization, SNAP congregated outside of Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart to send a message.

"My brother was abused by a parish priest and so were many of my relatives. None of us and none of the children ever want another child to go through what they went through," says SNAP member, Judy Block-Jones.

Monsignor Edward Sadie feels strongly about his role in the Catholic faith. He says nearly 1,000 kids attend school at his church and not one is in harms way.

"We see to it that all volunteers, our teachers, all our parents...if they have any contact with children in our school in our parish...they are screened," says Monsignor Edward Sadie of Sacred Heart.

SNAP will travel across 70 cities nationwide in hopes to pass along their message.

"SNAP is out here for anyone who has been sexually abused by clergy. We can connect you with other victims. It helps to know you're not the only one," says Jones.

As for those church goers, they say they'll stand by their belief.

"I went through Catholic school all my life. I've never had any problems or even heard of any sort of abuse," says parishioner, Christopher Smith.
