The 50-year-old pundit was arrested at his Grant Trace, Rousillac, home yesterday. He was taken to the Point Fortin Police Station and charged with 29 counts of having sexual intercourse with women, between 2008 and 2010. The charges include having sex with a 14-year-old girl from South-East Trinidad. The troubled teen was urged to run away from her home and move into the man's temple, police said. Investigators found the pundit takes women, mainly teenagers, with domestic problems to his home and lures them into having sex with him, police said. He will appear before a Point Fortin magistrate this morning. ASP Ravi Rajkumar and Police Constables Badree and Ablacksingh were involved in the investigations.
