Diarmuid Martin said the apostolic visitation appointed to help the catholic church in the wake of the clerical sex abuse crisis, has completed its work. Meanwhile it has been revealed that 50 more people have made allegations against priests in Dublin, since the Murphy Report in 2009, including complaints against nine new priests. It means in total, 570 people have made allegations against 93 priests in Dublin. Archbishop Martin said he believed the Holy Sea will issue a communique on the findings of the work in Ireland before the summer. "The Apostolic visitation of the diocese and of the seminaries has terminated," he said. "They are to present their reports to the Pope by Easter. "I'd imagine that in the month of May, they will be collated and co-ordinated…and before the summer, some indications will be there."
