	County Galway Rape Trial Adjourned Galway News March 29, 2011 http://www.galwaynews.ie/18533-county-galway-rape-trial-adjourned The trial of an 82-year-old priest charged with the alleged sexual assault of a boy in Galway has been adjourned until October. The priest - who can't be named for legal reasons - was listed to appear before this month's sitting of Galway Circuit Criminal Court. The priest was unable to appear before Judge Raymond Groarke as he is in hospital, according to Defence Barrister Deirdre Browne. She told the court that she's also awaiting a Supreme Court ruling in a case which she says is relevant.
