	Abuse Victims Meet Canadian Archbishop in Tuam Galway News March 12, 2011 http://www.galwaynews.ie/18259-abuse-victims-meet-canadian-archbishop-tuam Canadian Archbishop of Ottawa, Terence Prendergast met the abuse victims as part of his final Apostolic Visitation to the Tuam Archdiocese. It's one of four archdioceses chosen for investigation by the Pope in the aftermath of the Murphy and Ryan reports into clerical sex abuse. Archbishop Prendergast spent the week in Tuam on his third and final inspection. Besides his meetings with abuse victims, the Canadian archbishop climbed the reek for penance and held healing masses in Tuam Cathedral. Tuam Archdiocese spokesperson Fr Fintan Monaghan says the inspection went well and a report will now go to Pope Benedict in the Vatican
